Our Story
Inception of an Idea
The journey of EIC, spanning from its establishment in 1992 to its evolution into UC Studio in 2024, reflects a trajectory of growth, innovation, and adaptability in the ever-changing landscape of technology and telecommunications.

Mr. Bipin Kulkarni, embarked on his entrepreneurial voyage in 1992, following a fruitful five-year tenure at IIT Bombay. He pioneered the first service franchise of MELTRON's Telecom Division, marking the onset of the telecom revolution in India and the introduction of the inaugural EPABX technology by CDOT. This venture, under the banner of Electronics Instrumentation Co, saw the installation and maintenance of CDOT-based EPABX systems for a plethora of esteemed clients such as Central Excise, Mumbai University, and Press Information Bureau, among others, thereby establishing their inaugural communication systems.
In the pursuit of growth, we collaborated with a consortium of like-minded technocrats to establish M/s. Avani Telecom Pvt. Ltd. in 1996. This entity was pivotal in offering marketing and maintenance services, predominantly to government clients. Following the departure of other directors due to lucrative job offers, Avani Telecom was amalgamated back into EIC.
The year 2009 witnessed a foray into a new venture with the inception of M/s. Iconic Office Projects Pvt. Ltd., specializing in turnkey office projects. Despite a portfolio encompassing an array of high-tech office products, equipment, interiors, and contemporary furniture, the venture did not yield the desired results. Consequently, it was rebranded as a franchise of astTECS in 2014. This strategic move garnered recognition, with the franchise clinching the PAN India Franchisee Award four times within a span of five years. Iconic was eventually dissolved following the establishment of Haloocom Technologies, where Mr. Bipin Kulkarni assumed the role of a founding team member.
Haloocom emerged as a nationwide brand for Contact Centre Solutions, with Mr. Bipin Kulkarni playing a pivotal role in its expansion across West and North India. He subsequently established the Customer Success team, catering to over 300 clients and overseeing continuous new deployments.
Recognizing the need for consolidation, we now decided to rebrand EIC as UC Studio, leveraging his expertise in Customer Service, Contact Centre, and Unified Communications. With your support, we envision significant growth across all three business segments chosen for expansion in 2024-25.
